I do know Vietnam has very exotic food before I came here and I don't fancy those.
So there's nothing like those food in this post.
But they sure have some funny menu.
Pigeon? Chicken?
Kinda confusing when I wanna order...
I thought tortoise is 乌龟?
Maybe is just typo.
Either way I do not eat 乌龟 or 甲鱼.
Bombed rice.
I wonder... Don't they have copy and paste function?
Fried Rice with Chicken and Fish has been translated to Bombed Rice with Chicken and Fish.
Money wrapped.
I know their money face value is very small... but la... wrapped with money wor...
Hmm...
Isn't eating cock testicle is kind of extreme... ...ly not enough?
Wonder how many cock they need to prepare such a dish.
Hmm...again...
I have a Muslim colleague.
He was hesitating whether he should order the BBQ Beef or not.
What I had ordered.
So I picked the Bombed Rice with Chicken and Fish along with two other colleagues.
The first bite of the food was weird as the food had a funny taste, but once you get used to it, it was consumable.
Yet I still wonder my taste bud got problem or not, when I was the only one finished the dish while the other two barely finished half of it...

Rakuzen, EAT-ALL-YOU-CAN
Rakuzen
We went to Rakuzen for the eat-all-you-can japanese buffet on Sunday.
Trying to be Cyril
After we order the first batch of our food, Fish tried to pretend he was Cyril.
The menu
A lot of choices, we ordered a lot at first and then the captain gave us the weird look and said..."You can order more 'cause later when more people come in, the longer you need to wait."...Huh...OK...
The decoration
The environment was pretty nice, the decoration added the sense of Zen...
Light through bars
The lighting also was very soft, good for the eyes and couple to do what they want...
The bulb
One light bulb per table, NIAO...
The meditation
Meditation during the buffet was a must, abuthen where's the word "Zen" in Rakuzen coming from?
EAT-ALL-YOU-CAN-?
The slogan said eat-all-you-can, hey, we were trying...
CAN-YOU-EAT-ALL-?
After the buffet... I think the slogan should be can-you-eat-all-? 'Cause we can't.
Chopstick split
Rakuzen buffet can make you become Cyril, Fish finally could split the chopstick.
So this concludes the trip to Rakuzen, thanks for reading.
Eh? Where are the photos of the food? Aiya, we were busy eating, where got time to take photo of the food, result of the food maybe I can help lah...
OK, OK... actually I managed to take some of it before we put it into the digestive system.
Here goes.
Fight for the last one
The makimono was nice, you have to fight for it. But don't eat too much, rice can make you feel full, you won't able to eat the rest of the buffet.
Real men only eat fried stuff
Real men only eat fried stuff. Oily fried stuff.
No... actually they weren't as oily as we thought.
Don't know what beancurd, not really nice anyway
Forget what's it called. Doesn't matter anyway, I don't like it.
Most popular food, eat non-stop
Refreshing is the keyword. One scoop was definitely never enough.
Too hot, spoiled the mood to eat it
Suppose to be nice... but way too hot...
Me not food
Most delicious ones...
But don't eat me please...

Ke Tiao Kia, Again
Map by Wikipedia
Some people asked me about the location of the Ke Tiao Kia stall as in the one I mentioned here. So I took the liberty to find and locate it on the map.
Actually I do not know how to go there.
Why? because I was sleeping on the way to the stall...
If my memory served me right... I remember we're passing by Carrefour Kepong, so it should be around there, go find yourself.
By the way, I heard the area was called 为吃街?喂食街?
Play with the map above and see you can figure out the road to there, the center of the map is where the stall situated.
Finally, after a month I started the marathon, this is the last post of the month. It was challenging as I have to think of new thing to write everyday.
But it was fun.
I hardly write anything at all these few years and it was pain in the ass to write something longer than 100 words.
But I did it... by splitting it into 30 posts...
Call me a cheater, but I like ar... 吹咩。。。
Will come out with a review post and see what I left out over the 30-day post. I hope I can cover more things I like and I don't like.
I assure you the things I cover the next few months... will be slightly more interesting... kakaka...

Just found out through an anime movie, strawberry belongs to the family Rosaceae, or the rose family.
So Strawberry and Rose come from the same family. Does it mean they share the same characteristic, beautiful but full of thorns?
Hopefully not.

We sell the freshest bread and cake in the town!
It was a photo taken by a friend of mine during her trip to Hong Kong.
I love bread and did think of opening a bakery before...
But the name was taken... Guess I have to stick to my current job as a programmer...

Ke Tiao Kia

Ke Tiao Kia is one of the specialties in Johor. We won't see it easily in Klang Valley area and most of the locals here don't even know what is it.
During the day returning from Cameron Highlands, we decided to stop by at Kepong for dinner. And that's how we discovered probably the only Ke Tiao Kia stall in Klang Valley.
I lived in KL for 7 years and this is the first time I ate one in KL.
I was crying when I was eating it...... joking.
