Mono

Roll
Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd, 1/420, f/4.5, 4.7 mm, ISO 100
Taken on November 9, 2008

Wanted to try something different in taking field trip photo.

This time I want my photo to be black & white, and see how does it gives the impact to the photo.

Life
Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd, 1/210, f/8, 84.2 mm, ISO 100
Taken on November 9, 2008

The photos were taken during a one day trip to Perfume Pagoda, 2 hour distance from Hanoi.

By taking photos in black and white, it discards the colors and reduces the information one's eyes can capture. Hence one could focus on one part of the photo which should make that certain part stands out. And of course it adds more serenity into the photo.

Silhoutte?

And all of that is just my thought.

I just made that up while I was typing this blog.

But I still very satisfy with the photos I took.

p/s: Is it me or anything else that I am kinda lack of words to use? Hate it.

Detour

Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd, 1/7, f/4.5, 84.2 mm, ISO 100
Taken on June 17, 2008

If life is really easy that you don't have to choose from anything and it's all the way green light, wouldn't it be nice?

Too bad it isn't.

You just have to stop somewhere and wait for another round of green light.

Or you can choose to take a detour and go the other way.

Different route, different scene, different experience, I picked this one.

I am in front of your monitor again...

Created using Textorizer

..., taking photo of you again with my head.

I am the Camera-Man!! This time in textorized form!!

I used Textorizer to create such effect. The concept is to vectorise a picture using text strings.

On Top of My Hand

Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd, 1/120, f/8.0, 4.7 mm, ISO 64
Taken on May 19, 2008

Keyword: Aperture, SMALL APERTURE!

Use smaller aperture to make the DOP larger, so that the focus on hand and the people will be very sharp.

Photo's taken at Cameron Highlands.

Tears of Heaven

Tears of Heaven
Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd, 1/2000, f/4.5, 67.8 mm, ISO 400
Taken on March 22, 2008

Personally in love with this photo.

Water drops froze by the shutter of the camera. It looked like chain of tears that are shed by the Heaven.

Took more than 50 photos in order to obtain such effect.

It's not easy therefor I like it.

Bright Idea!

Sony Ericsson K810i, 1/30, f/2.8, ISO 125
Taken on April 18, 2008
Taken by David

Taken inside Ikea.

The bulb lights there trigger an idea and therefor I made an idea triggering photo out of it. (pun intended)

When was the last time you had a brilliant idea? Definitely it's not easy to come out with one.

Do appreciate bright ideas more.
